To disable Steam from running at startup on your Windows PC, follow these steps:

Using Steam Settings:
Open the Steam app.

Click on the Steam menu, and choose Settings.
In the Settings window, click on the Interface tab.
Uncheck the box that says: “Run Steam when my computer starts.”
Using Task Manager:

Press Windows key + I to open Settings.
Click on Apps.
Navigate to Startup.

Find Steam in the list and toggle it to Off.
That’s it! Steam won’t automatically launch when you start your computer anymore.
