To turn on Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) on your Roku for gaming, follow these steps:

1. Ensure Your TV Supports ALLM
Your TV needs to support Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), which is available on many modern 4K TVs with HDMI 2.1 support. Make sure that both your TV and the Roku device support this feature.

2. Enable ALLM in Roku Settings
Roku does not have a direct ALLM toggle, but you can enable it through the Display Settings when your Roku device is connected to a compatible TV.

Steps:
Press the Home button on your Roku remote to go to the main screen.
Scroll down and select Settings.

Navigate to Display type and select the correct resolution for your TV (e.g., 4K UHD, 1080p).

Once the display type is set correctly, Roku should automatically switch to low latency mode if the TV supports ALLM.

Note: Roku will automatically switch to low latency mode when it detects a compatible game console or device and the connected TV supports ALLM. If you're playing games via a Roku app, ensure your TV’s Game Mode or Low Latency Mode is activated in the TV settings.

3. Enable Game Mode on Your TV
If you have a Game Mode on your TV, you may need to enable it to reduce input lag further. This mode is often used to optimize the display settings for gaming.

Go to your TV Settings.
Look for Picture or Display Settings.
Enable Game Mode or Low Latency Mode.

4. Ensure HDMI 2.1 Port
If you’re using a Roku device with a 4K resolution, make sure it is connected to an HDMI 2.1 port on your TV (if available), as this supports ALLM. If your TV doesn't have HDMI 2.1, the low latency mode may not activate.
