2nd: click the bar that says " 2-minute Ko fest!"
change Rules to Stock. Stock to 01, Stage selection to Random

3rd: Use all 14 starter characters in VS, Melee , it does not matter what order you play the characters in ( Win or lose )

4th: Beat Marth ... Congratulations you now unlocked Marth

Other ways to Unlock Marth:

Classic Mode or Adventure Mode you can play through will all 14 starting characters as well a complete playthrough is not required for the single-player modes.

Marth can also be unlocked by doing a total of 400 Vs. battles.
