Activate Emergency SOS in an Emergency
Press and Hold Buttons:
Press and hold the side button and one of the volume buttons until the Emergency SOS slider appears.
Drag the slider to call emergency services immediately.
Five-Click Shortcut:
Rapidly press the side button five times to start the emergency call.
Enable Crash Detection (Optional)
The iPhone 14 Pro Max has Crash Detection to automatically contact emergency services if it detects a severe car crash. Ensure this feature is enabled in the Settings under Emergency SOS.
Set Up Emergency Contacts
Open the Health App and tap your profile picture.
Go to Medical ID and select Edit.
Add emergency contacts who will be notified with your location when you activate Emergency SOS.
Customize Emergency SOS Settings
