How to use heading tags H1 to H6 in HTML5 | Introduction to HTML5 and CSS3 | HTML5 & CSS3 Tutorial
Want to learn HTML5 and CSS3 from scratch?
This is the fourth episode of my “Learn HTML5 and CSS3” course. In this course, we will learn everything about how we can create markup for a website. At the end of the course, I will add some full tutorials where I will be creating famous websites from scratch. So, if you have any suggestions, just let me know and I might make a video about it!
In this episode, I will show you the hierarchy of heading elements, when you should use which element and what the purpose is of using a hierarchy structure. It is very useful to use the right hierarchy because it will help Google detect what heading elements are and not. I will also show you how you could create a paragraph tag for longer pieces of text.
EDIT:
I just rewatched my video and I heard myself saying something wrong: the lower the number, the greater it's importance. So H1 is the most important header, and H6 is the least important header.
