We've been using Lossless Scaling on SteamOS for a while now, and we've seen improved performance in our games on Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and Legion Go, but there are still areas we need to cover.

In previous videos, I also showed you how to run it directly with the Heroic Games Launcher, and today I'm showing you how to launch it directly with PortProton. This version isn't exactly the same as the one we used with the Decky plugin, but at least we'll be able to generate frames in our games.

Keep in mind that this is still an experimental feature, so it may not work perfectly, or not all games may be compatible. 🙌
