In this video we will add more RAM to the emulated PC...
... and overclock its main CPU
First we will add a game requiring more RAM than available
[Shift] + [ Scroll Lock]
[Tab]
[Tab]
OK we don't have enough RAM. Let's fix this
We can configure RAM size via the -ramsize option on the command line
Our system has now 8 MB of RAM
[F1]
[F10]
[Y] + [Enter]
This seems better
Now we will overclock our CPU
We have currently a 486 at 25 Mhz
[Tab]
"Slider Controls"
[Ctrl] + [right arrow]
We now have a 486 at 100 Mhz !
Maybe a bit too fast...
You can adjust the CPU's clock as you want...
Overclocking or downclocking is possible...
But overclocking require more power from the host PC
So depending on your real PC's CPU,
you may end up with a slower experience...
because emulation speed will drop under 100%
To display emulation speed, hit [F11]
It appears in the upper right corner
That's all for today
