this is how to use pedal assist on an e-bike. pedal assist does exactly what it says. the way this ebike is set up is it has gears 1 through 5. if you want to ride slow you would select gear one this would push you up to 5 miles an hour if you wanted to ride faster you would select the higher years obviously. the faster you pedal the less the electric motor will work therefore extending your ride. this has pushed my biking to new limits. and yes I'm still getting the full workout I'm just able to ride 10 to 12 miles farther and at a much faster pace. you spend less time pedaling up hills and more time enjoying your ride.

The Current bike I am using in this video:
METAKOO 26" Electric Mountain Bike, 3 Hours Fast Charge 36V/10.4Ah Removable Lithium-Ion Battery, BAFANG 350W Brushless Motor, Electric Commuter Bicycle with Suspension Fork (Cybertrack 100)
