STEPS ON HOW TO GET PKHEX TO WORK:
1. Press A on save_manager from The Homebrew Launcher to select it.
2. Press left on your D-Pad to immediately select the game in your card slot (this also works on digital games if you need it to)
3. Press A to launch.
4. Once in the application, press A to back up your save file to your SD Card.
5. Press X to exit.
6. Press Start and then A once on The Homebrew Launcher to reboot to the Home Menu.
7. Once on the Home Menu, turn off the 3DS completely and put your SD Card in your computer.
8. In directory "saveDataBackup" there should be a file called "main"
9. Make sure you have the most up-to-date version of PKHeX file.
10. Open PKHeX and open the "main" file.
11. Make your edits, and when you're done, overwrite the save.
12. Go back to save_manager and then instead of backing up, press B to import, and then X to exit.
13. Launch your game from the Regionfree Launcher (quicker than rebooting to the Home Menu every time) and your changes should be there.
