This is pretty much the most stereotypical Holodeck adventure episode ever. The Holodeck malfunctions for extra danger, there's a time crunch where they might have the ship get destroyed if the holodeck adventure takes too long.

It's pretty bland as a source material to draw inspiration from so you'd probably be best off improvising to spice it up if you try using a holodeck episode.
