The Quasar cannon is a legit game changer in Helldivers 2.  It can take down any Automaton dropship, especially if you hit its engines.  Bigger enemies like the Hulks take two hits, but other enemies are taken down with only one!  It does have one drawer back and it's the charge time.  It takes a little while to fire and even recharge, so be careful.  Here are some clips from just one game.  The squad and I take down the Automaton hangers and sweep them with Quasar cannons.
