To check your phone's notifications, swipe down from the top of your screen. You'll see them listed under a menu called Quick settings.

If you want to read a notification, tap it.

To get rid of all notifications, tap the button that says Clear.

To close the Quick settings menu, swipe up or press the Back button.

To change how your notifications work, tap Notification settings at the bottom of the menu. You can also choose which apps can send you notifications.

If you want to see which apps sent notifications recently, go to your phone's Settings and tap Notifications. You can sort the list by most recent or most frequent notifications. You can also see if any notifications were blocked.
