With the launch of The Grand Tour, Amazon now allows Australian's to subscribe to their Prime service in order to watch the show via the web. However if you wish to use their service via an Xbox One app (not currently available in Australia), this video will show you a very quick and easy way to do it. 100% perfectly legal too!

G’day there, Mark here.
In this video I will quickly show you how you can watch The Grand Tour or other Amazon Prime Videos in Australia or other counties where the app isn’t officially available on the Xbox One.

Firstly, you’ll need an active account. From Google or your search engine of choice type in Amazon Prime Video, it should be the first result.
Along the top bar you’ll be given an option to login, as you can see I am already logged in. If you have purchased from Amazon before or used Audible, just use this account. Once logged press the button which offers you a 30-day free trial and follow the prompts.

Once done you can watch The Grand Tour right here from your browser, however if you want to watch via the Xbox One, let me show you.


Okay now I am on my Xbox, from the home page press left to access the menu bar, scroll down to Settings and go into ‘All Settings.
Once in go to the System tab from the side bar and go into the Language & Location option.
From here all you’ll need to change is your Location, in the drop down option go down to the United States (or UK, ect if you went through them). Press Restart Now and your console will reboot.

Now just so we’re all good, this will NOT effect your saves, friends, games or anything else, all is well.

Once your Xbox has restarted and you’re logged in again. Go to the store, then to the app section via “Browse Apps”.
Once in you have a couple ways to get to Amazon.
If you go down to “Most Popular Apps” it should be in here, for me it was on the end or you can find it in show all. Otherwise you can find it in all apps or using the search function you can find it in by typing in Amazon.

Once in simply download it as you would any other app, it’s free. Once installed you can either watch it from here or if you’re like me you will decide to switch your console back to your native country, in my case Australia.
Don’t worry, once you swap back to your native country the app will still work, however I suggest you wait for it to install first just to be safe.

Okay so once back, to go My Games and Apps to find it, you should know what to do.
Once the app is open you’ll be presented with a bunch of numbers, what you need to do is go to the website onscreen, in my case this was Amazon.com/mytv, from here you might need to login again then simply put in the number on you TV and after a few seconds your Xbox should let you in.

Grats, now you can watch Amazon Prime and the Grand Tour.
And I am as surprised as you are that it let me record a bit of it, thought it would block me out.
