How to Watch YouTube TV on Apple TV (Sort of).
One of our biggest reservations in recommending YouTube TV was that only TVs with Chromecast (either connected or integrated) could access it. Thankfully, you can pipe the service to an Apple TV via its iOS app, though we wish it wasn't that complicated.

While YouTube TV's live (and Cloud DVR-recorded) content can now be seen on an Apple TV, it can only make it to the over-the-top box via Apple's AirPlay wireless streaming protocol. So, really, you'll also need an iPhone, iPad or Mac. Basically, you're cutting out the tethering you'd need to connect a laptop to a TV via HDMI, the other way to get YouTube TV onto a television.
