Steps:

- To zip a file or folder, open finder from the doc and locate the file you would like to zip.

- If you have secondary click enabled you can select the folder and use secondary click to bring up this menu, then click ‘compress’.

- If you don’t have secondary click enabled you can hold the control key on your keyboard while you click, to open this menu, then click ‘compress’.

- You can also select the file and then click ‘file’ from the menu at the top left of the screen.

- Click ‘compress’ from the dropdown menu.

- The file will be zipped, and will be named the file’s name followed by .zip.

- To unzip the file simply double-click it and it will de-compress.
