HowToVideo: Trial Run for PrInTIS #005
2Today I show you how to use PrInTIS for the upcoming module (course) registration which will happens in the next month. I don't know whether this video is applicable or not, but good luck on using the new system anyway.
The messages are shown as below:
Dear Student,
We will be launching a NEW Student Information System (UMSItS) on 10 of February 2020.
To ensure smooth running of the exercise and to avoid any problems, we will be conducting a Trial Run for Module Enrolment (Subject Registration) for all students to participate in starting from 15 January 2020 (12 p.m.) to 31 January 2020.
It is MANDATORY for ALL STUDENTS to participate in this Trial Run in order to:
1. Check on your records and give us feedback before the actual registration next semester. This will expedite your actual registration process for Semester II, Academic Session 2019/2020.
2. Get used to the new domain:
Trial Run domain: printis-prep.um.edu.my.
Note: accessible to students for TRIAL RUN purposes only starting from 15 January 2020 to 31 January 2020.
Actual domain for Semester II is MAYA.um.edu.my Note: accessible to student starting from 10 February 2020
3. Test the accessibility to the system.
The test system authentication is by using two (2) methods:
(i) SISWA Mail Credential Username: SiswamailID@perdana.um.edu.my Password: SiswaMail_Password
(ii) UMSItS Account: Username: IC Number/Passport Number (International Student) Password: UM1234 (change password after first log on)
Please make sure BOTH are working and you can successfully log on.
4. Experience using the new system with the new interface/new terminology.
If you face any problems with the new system, please log in your problem to the helpdesk.um.edu.my
