HP Stream 7 Gaming - Skyrim running on the Stream 7. This is vanilla Skyrim running on the $100 HP Stream 7 Windows 8.1 Tablet. It's not the fastest thing in the world, but it does work. Sorry for the quality of the video, it's rather poor due to the lighting at the time.

Here are the HP Stream 7 's modest specs:
-1280 x 800 IPS 7" Screen
-1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G
-1GB RAM memory
-32Gb Storage ~20 Gb available after initial Windows setup
-Windows 8.1
-Micro USB port
Because the system RAM is so low, it is difficult for modern games to play on the machine, Skyrim is set to low settings - Low textures, and I've set the resolution to 640 x 480 to reduce the amount of memory used by the GPU.
--If you resize to 800 x 600 , you are looking at a 5 fps reduction in all areas of the game. There just isn't enough system memory to share effectively with the Intel HD GPU.

At 640 x 480, it averages between 20-25 fps for the majority of the game. Some areas will take a bigger hit of course depending on the amount of items on screen, and the screen complexity overall. IMHO, a 7" screen works okay with this resolution if you need to play Skyrim on a Stream 7, at least when played on your lap.. but get it any closer to your eyes and the resolution is jaggy enough to cut your nose on.

Concluding that while you're looking at framerates and resolution which are well below fps gaming standards, having a $100 Windows tablet PC from a major manufacturer able to run the game s still incredible.
