HRtP speedrun test - Jigoku route 7:20.3
2Time measured from frame the "Start" text appears (which is instantly selected due to holding Z) to first visible Japanese character outline after defeating Konngara.
This only took two attempts. Any serious speedrun should definitely be faster than this.
I ran out of bombs on stage 9, 14, and 19 (remember, test run), but I still managed to finish off 9 and 14 pretty quickly. Not so much with 19. There are also a few places, such as stage 12 and 18, where should have bombed earlier instead of keeping the chain going, since I didn't need the lives. Also I know both Kikuri and Konngara could have been faster.
