On the htc one m8 there is a vibrate to receive notifications option. This is a nice option that can better alert you when you receive a notification. To turn this feature on into the settings on your htc one m8 and click notifications. Once your in that section you will see a vibrate when messages are received. Just turn that option on and you will receive a vibration once you receive a notification.
