THIS TUTORIAL TELLS YOU HOW TO FIX YOUR HTC HD7 OR OTHER HTC PHONE WHEN IT HAS A FAULTY / LOOSE PROXIMITY SENSOR, THIS PROBLEM OCCURS WHEN DURING A CALL YOUR SCREEN GOES BLACK AND REMAINS BLACK SO YOU CAN'T USE YOUR IN CALL FEATURES OR EVEN HANG UP. 1.) pull off both back covers
2.) remove battery, sim
3.) remove 10 torx screws
4.) remove black plate when screws are out it just lifts off
5.) at very top right next to screw hole locate proximity sensor
6.) put a thin piece of card / paper on sensor so that when you screw the plate back on the sensor is pushed slightly forward. (note i used a piece of thin card a very small piece) and then i held the backplate and battery on to test it before screwing it shut again
7.) close up with screws, insert sim, battery and back covers
8.) ENJOY YOUR FIXED PHONE - IF NOT BUY ANDROID !!! (ANDROID HAS AN OPTION TO TURN PROXIMITY SENSOR OFF)
