Today we explore Székesfehérvár ( Fehérvár meaning "white castle"). The city of kings. Chronicles tell that Arpád set up camp here when he entered the Pannonian basin and fell in love with it. For centuries, kings were baptised, crowned, married and buried here. It has been under both Ottoman and Habsburg control. Aside from the beautiful buildings that have stood the test of time, there are some nice little secrets hidden in this captivating city.
