Each match takes place on a large, open-world map filled with AI-controlled enemies and environmental hazards, creating an ever-present sense of danger. You and your teammate (or solo, if you dare) must track down clues to locate the boss monster’s lair. Once you kill the monster and start the banishing process, everyone on the map is alerted to your location. This shifts the game from PvE to PvPvE, as other players may try to ambush and steal the bounty for themselves.
