The Last Federation is a unique hybrid of 4X Turn-based Strategy, and Real-Time, tactical with pause space combat, in a capital ship. In one mode, you're plotting how to set the various races against each other for your own benefit, and in the other you're taking on missions directly, plotting out the movements of your ship, adjusting power levels, and aiming your weapons, to directly blows your enemies apart! Or your friendmies, or the allies who are in your way at the moment, or whoever is paying you the most; whatever; space hydra gotta do what space hydra gotta do.
What I'm saying is there alot of plotting in this one; its a good thing.
