This bench is a general home-décor item suited for a variety of uses, not just shoes. Please find the transcript of the video below:

Once you remove the box out of the Amazon Packaging, you will find a variety of shipping notices and labels from importing from China, to Vacaville, CA, to Sati, TX, to the final destination.
As we can see here, everything self-recesses into each other so you can have a compact shipped bench, yet have it all assemble together.
Inside this neat little cardboard box you’ll find the included brass hardware as well as small Allen and flat wrenches to build the bench.
Below the legs and shelving, you’ll find a piece of paper with detailed assembly instructions and a look at the assembly instructions in detail.
Once you unbox all the fixing hardware, you’ll find:
--8 Medium Length Bolts
--8 Washer Nuts
--16 Screws with long pointy ends
--16 End-cap, Thimble-sized pieces
--One Wrench
--One Allen Wrench
In terms of hardware, 3 fixing tools are required, two of which are supplied with the bench. For the fixing nuts, the long wrench is used. For the small bolts and spike-tipped bolts the Allen wrench is used. For the endcap thimbles a very large flathead screwdriver is used.
For step 1, you want to take the 4 shelf legs and assemble that with 8 flatend bolts, securing them with 8 flathead nuts. This is easy to see based on leg orientation. Once assembled inside the frame, you can see how this will look and you can use the included Allen wrench to tighten them.
Once this is complete, assemble the other three legs.
Be sure to use the Allen Wrench to make sure your legs are tool-tight, otherwise they are still quite wobbly.
Now with the base complete and legs decently tight we can start on the middle and lower shelves for Step 2.
While not an exactly repeatable method for all of my viewers, you can actually get the center shelf to stay in place by using a Canon 430 EX Flash box on top of the original Styrofoam packing material. This puts the top shelf bolt centerline to the middle shelf centerline lined up at about 7-7/8” or 20cm, but it lets you at least visually see this without having to hold the shelf in place on camera. Use the 8 pointed tip bolts along with the 8 caps to fill in the top of the shelf to complete this section.
The next step is to assemble the middle and lower shelves using the spike tip bolts and the threaded thimble bolts. This is where a flathead screwdriver comes in handy.
Drop the cylinders into each of the shafts for the shelves and use the flathead screwdriver to rotate them in place so that you can then thread the long bolts into them.
Next up is to use the threaded cylinders along with the spike bolts and make sure that the flathead groove aligns with the threading of the bolt. Drop each of these into the 8 holes on the bottom of the shelf and use the flathead screwdriver to realign them if necessary. Thread the bolt into the cylinder and tighten it with the Allen wrench.
Repeat the same step for the other 7 bolts for the middle shelf section.
With assembly of one shelf complete, simply repeat the process for the second shelf and assembly will be completed.
With the bench completed we can do some measurements and as always I’ll include Imperial and Metric numbers for my viewers. We have 27” / 68.6cm wide, 11” / 28cm Deep, and 17-3/4” / 45.1cm high. Alright guys this shoe bench and rack is complete, let’s look at some use-case scenarios!

Overall I was pretty impressed with this bench and will give it 4 of 5*. The color and finish are nice, the size is perfect for many things, however some of the edges are prone to splinters and could use additional lacquer or sanding. The staining, while richly colored, will fade with use and time. The machining is tolerable enough though and I had no issue assembling the bench. The bench remained level on carpet or hard flooring without teetering or wobbling. The weight limit is at least 30lbs or 14kg for the top shelf and 25lbs or ~12kg for the lower shelving though I don't have a maximum capacity load number.
For difficulty in building this bench it is a 1 of 5*; really, a child could do this one, it's not hard! So don't worry if assembling furniture scares you, this bench is very easy to put together with only 3 steps.
