There was once an ancient line of action figures, who created a magical power source that would allow humans to keep their favourite childhood memories of their toys. This ancient power source is known as the Hypercore.
Inside the Hypercore are the beloved memories of our favorite toys. If Major Evil destroys it, these memories will disappear forever. Defend it with everything you've got, or see our cherished toys turn into lost treasures of the past.

We started creating Hypercharge: Unboxed back in 2015 and launched a first look through Steam Early Access in 2017.
Our team is made up of folks who spent their childhoods in the ’80s and ’90s, an era filled with awesome movies like ‘Honey, I Shrunk the Kids,’ ‘Small Soldiers,’ ‘Toy Story,’ and classic games like ‘Sarge’s Heroes,’ ‘Toy Commander,’ and those unforgettable Counter-Strike 1.6 de_rat maps.
These memories fueled our passion to build a game that celebrates action figures and brings back those good old vibes. The idea of exploring the world from the viewpoint of a tiny plastic toy in places that seem massive and full of adventure really excited us.
It’s all about recapturing that thrill and the ever-present sense of adventure and danger.
