We saved Norion from the meteor, but at what cost? Dark Samus had somehow infested Samus, and the other three Hunters with the ability to generate the radioactive material Phazon within their own bodies!? WHAT!? That's a crazy thought, and fortunately, the Galactic Federation was already outfitting Samus with some gear that can benefit from this generated Phazon, the PED Suit. It's... not as cool as the original Phazon Suit, but that's Galactic Federation for you. With this, we are sent around the system to other planetary systems in order to rid those planets of other Meteorites that HAVE crashed into them, called Leviathans - quick note: the Leviathan is the same meteorite that crashed into Tallon IV and caused interplanetary destruction and radiation, and also crashed into Aether, causing a space-time rift due to the Energy of Aether. We start our journey on Bryyo.
