Growing up I wanted to build a MAME cabinet, well I wanted a home arcade but when learned about MAME I was very intrigued. A couple of years ago I began playing around with Hyperspin, which at this point I wad ready to build. my wife came across a listing on marketplace for a gutted SNK cabinet for $35 so excited me I went on over and picked it up.

Ordered some usb controls from Amazon, a monitor from backmarket, set up an old pc and cut some particle board for the controls.

Needless to say this has allowed me the opportunity to introduce my kids to arcade hits from when I was a kid. At same time laughing and bonding over some oddities as well.

This short is just a glimpse of the time and energy put into getting hyperspin to work properly.
