8The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Walkthrough
There are two Heart Pieces and they can both be gotten as either a child or an adult. Looking at where I am on the map will help you a lot.
#1 In the north-west area of Hyrule Field is a group of bushes and trees. Off by itself is a tree that's less lush looking than the rest. Drop a bomb by this tree to open the hidden hole. To get this Heart Piece as a child you need the Golden Scale otherwise use the Heavy Boots as an adult.
#2 On your way to Lake Hylia from Hyrule Field you come across a square formed by four fences. Place a bomb in the middle of the square and it will open a hidden hole. Defeat the Business Scrub inside and he will sell you a Piece of Heart for 10 rupees.
