Hyrule Warriors DE - Reaching for Evil's Bane
The short version of this here is: I wanted to show how close I was to getting one of the two skills on Master Sword unsealed. Lorule is one of the more complex adventure maps to traverse and it contains the highest difficulty stage types while having more varied mission structures. It's actually pretty overwhelming if you don't have you warriors trained, or have good weapons ready to use.
I've been digging into the Lorule Adventure map in order to obtain the remaining level 2 and level 3 weapons I needed to unlock the first of the Master Sword's Skills. I've heard that once you obtain all level 2 and 3 weapons, then you get Evils Bane. Once that is unlocked, you should be able to unlock the Legendary skill (one of the skills that are purple and sealed). I've gathered pretty much every other weapon except these two, so this is just a casual look into reaching for those weapons specifically.
I quickly realize that the Lorule adventure map put a bunch of blocks in your way in the form of the Ice and Fire Rod Item Cards. You need to use them on the red or blue colored statues that appears on certain tiles to hide enemies. To reach even one of these, you need to go to specific fissures. So I kinda figure things out a long the way as I go through various maps and stages, using different characters and strategies.
You need to be prepared with many characters at a decent level (60+ recommended) and some of the strongest weapons you have to make the red-tile stages much more bearable. But even perusing through this, I later found out that you actually have to unlock "Exorcism" in order to unlock the "Legendary" weapon skill, which raises base weapon attack to 560. Once this was discovered, I realized that you have to collect every single weapon in the game to obtain it, unlike Hyrule Warriors Legends where it seemed only non-plus-grade weapon were needed. But the only map I haven't touched yet is Termina so even that's not too far away.
