Any character can be used, but since Fi is weak to darkness, I'd recommend a dark user/weapon. In particular, Skull Kid seems to be very effective here since most of his attacks can get the divided Dark Fi copies down pretty fast. You should be able to take out the first before the second gets to your location easily. Once the second one is down, you have a few seconds to take out the Healer and Rally Captain before going after the third one.
