This one mostly consisted of getting distance and throwing waves with C1. Still ended up with a pretty cozy lead... Ruto is well-suited to this kind of challenge I think.
Hylian Captains are actually pretty dangerous when they've got superarmor, in a sense. Since you can't hitstun them, they'll never block and they'll always keep approaching and attacking. So if you use any combo finisher that keeps you in one place from close range, you WILL get hit. At least their attacks are very basic, so they're easy to read. If you feel that you must confront them, jab and dodge. Ruto's jab in particular applies a slowdown effect that can help you react to the enemy's attacks.
