Zelda is revealed to be Sheik in disguise. And after having sealed all the Gate of Souls, the heroes return to the current timeline to another surprise: Lana and Cia are parts of a whole being. Link and the others now seek evil's bane which is known as the Master Sword. It is laying dormant inside the Sacred Temple. But to enter the temple, something must be done about the ghost soldiers who are attacking en mass. Sacred Statues also seem to be located in the immediate vicinity...

Meanwhile, Gannondorf's powers have returned with three of the four fragments to a capacity that he can reform his own body. But not enough to take the complete Triforce away from Cia...

And thus the major turning point of the story begins... I think. The objective of this stage is to obtain the Master Sword. But of course, that's no simple task.

First off, a LONG period of waiting. There is about a minute and thirty seconds of no enemies to fight. But you need to locate 3 statues. Just simply stepping into the keep with the statue is enough to locate it. There are three in total, and one ally will move to each statue upon it's location being discovered.

When the Ghost Soliders appear, you need to keep them at bay and prevent them from obstructing Impa, Darunia or Midna. They need to activate the three statues which-- of course, takes time. These soldiers will keep appearing over and over with no end. So focus on the ones with visible health bars (unless you turned them on for all units, then it gets impossible to tell).

Moving back and forth between the three different statues, they will eventually activate. But even so, non-stop Ghost Soldiers will continue to appear, prompting you to find the commander of them. Your first hint is Lana seemingly eager to "Get them!". If a minute passes, Zelda comments about an evil presence nearby. If another minute passes and you still haven't found them, then the game outright reveals who the impostor is.

The fake Lana is Wizzro in disguise. His prompt defeat here gets the temple to open. The Ghost Soldiers will be freed and retreat, recognizing the one who will obtain the Master Sword. Enemy forces now appear. But two Gatekeepers later, you can claim the Master Sword (Link has to enter the sanctuary weather you control him or not).

Upon obtaining the blade, Wizzro's sneak attack is quickly repelled. There's a bit here where Zelda retreats to the temple, but you can ignore that and go straight for Wizzro. Seriously, he's no match for the blade and it's much faster than escorting Zelda.

This level is fairly large. Because of I am playing CO-Op with Danzonator, the game lags quite a lot, kinda like Twilight Palace. It sucks, but there's nothing to help it, even if you look down at the ground a lot. The music in this stage is awesome, but I have to wonder why the Ghost Soldiers aren't used anywhere else in the game. Isn't strange to have a unique enemy type, but not use them at all outside the intended level in Legend Mode? Yeah, it's a re-skinned Hylian Soldier, but it's different enough to be a new type of unit.
