The focus today is to see Impa's 1-on-1 prowess and then give Link's Fire Rod a massive power boost. It's not often you can jump power scales when getting new weapons, but this is one of such examples.

First, a challenge map as Impa where you simply defeat the foes. All foes are either captain, warrior or boss. This shouldn't be too hard because using Impa's Giant Blade holds the weakness to pretty much all foes (ReDead Knights, Volga, Fiery Aeralfos, King Dodongo). No matter what level you are, this should be simple. At least until you get to King Dodongo. You will want to take care of the Redead/Aeralfos first because they can peck your heels when trying to focus on King Dodongo, and vice versa. Just wait for him to open his mouth and go to work on the rest.

Secondly, A level 3 weapon that's actually available relatively close to the easier section of the Adventure Map! Most of the level 3 weapons are locked all the way up at the top red squares, so this is an early treat for Link. You have a long trog to get through, but it's worth it.

There's a lot of powered-up Moblins in this stage, and they carry ridiculous amount of health. But you might need to take some down since your objective here is to capture three enemy bases and weaken the enemy. FI is leading them... for some reason. The three bases are scattered throughout the field, and fortifier captains will appear to reinforce two of them-- that is increase the Keep Guage's total value and make it harder for you to capture.

Sticking to the objective is a good idea, because you have to beat-down enemies with high health. The KOs will come as you progress through the stage. If you go through this ordeal while avoid a lot of damage, then you are rewarded with the Magical Rod, a level 3 weapon starting off with 280 Attack, quite a strong improvement to what I just used. I went ahead and customized it a bit before heading back out on the field for the second Skulltula, highlight only since the stage ended up getting a ton easier second time around!

Just want to say, Fi is incredibly tanky in this stage. I don't know if it's the fact that Link himself is light elemental (even though I was using a Fire-elemental weapon), but the damage I dealt to her just sucked. Light vs Light is just as bad as Dark vs Dark, and I'm pretty sure the game lowers your damage you deal to enemies matching your element.
