Correction: at some point in the video I mentioned the incident as happening in the "summer of 2016." I meant to say "summer of 2018."

I elaborated poorly on my James Gunn analogy in this video for those who were unaware of the incident. A hate group targeting James Gunn, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy, uncovered tweets from his past and used them to alert Disney and have him fired. It wasn't until after the dust settled and people stopped flaming Disney that they eventually revoked the decision and rehired James Gunn. I used this analogy to demonstrate that people must learn from this incident and handle this situation maturely, without flaming GDQ, to show the event organizers that we want to help them constructively rather than tearing them down.
