I AM LITERALLY SPEACHLESS! | First time in the Rift on Oculus DK2 | 1st time in VR!
9My Oculus Rift DK2 (developer kit 2) has finally arrived. I've tried 30+ demos for it at the time of this upload. It took some serious internet researching to figure out how to actually get all of the audio synced up correctly for this type of video, so I'm just now uploading my initial reaction. I hope you can tell in the video, but I am 100% being real in this video. I'm not acting, not exaggerating like some LP'ers on here do... This thing simply blew my freaking mind. I've been VERY into gaming for almost 20 years now. This was hands-down the number one gaming experience for me (and yeah it's not even a game lol). There isn't much at all in the way of real games for the Rift yet, but it is absolutely brimming with possibility. If they can iron out the few little problems here and there and make it easy to use with the consumer version... I could see this thing changing the future of games entirely. The far off future most likely due simply to computing power requirements, but still.. the dang future man!
