I absolutely love the world of Pokemon Trading Cards. The intricacy of the competitive Pokemon TCG coupled with the chase of Pokemon Card Collecting makes the hobby incredibly fun, enjoyable, and challenging all at the same time. While playing the Pokemon Trading Card Game was always enjoyable to me, it was extremely difficult to travel around to Regional Events multiple times a month. However, because of how much I enjoyed the Pokemon Card Hobby, I wanted to remain a part of it as much as I possibly could.
Ever since I was younger it has always been a dream of mine to open up a Card Store. I loved collecting Sports Cards, Yugioh Cards, Pokemon Cards, and pretty much any Trading Card Game imaginable as a child. As I got older, I realized more and more how difficult owning a Local Game Store must be. With shrinking margins and rising overhead, it seemed impossible for these stores to stay afloat unless they had already established themselves and cornered an area of the market. In order to make my dream a reality, I opened an online Pokemon Card Store.
To combine my passion of playing the Pokemon Trading Card Game and running an online Pokemon Store, I started applying to be a vendor at Regional events. This allowed me to still continue to focus on the Pokemon Meta, while operating my business at the same time. In today's video, we take a behind the scenes look at the intricacies when it comes to preparing for a Pokemon Card Regional event from a vendor point of view. Diversifying inventory and catering to your audience is extremely important to become successful. Let's take a look at some of the things I am bringing along to the Indianapolis Pokemon Regional Championships!
