I wanted to do it, because my ram was rated at 3600mhz and I couldn't utlize it because my 1700x was only comfortable with 3000mhz. Also, it wasn't pushing my 1070 ti to its full potential. But the truth is, i just wanted to cop the 3700x since it launched. I did not get the 5600x because people be scalping it, no stock. Also I would have to purchase a new motherboard and that plus the cost of this cpu would have been beyond my budget.

I have no plans in overclocking this cpu right now, just because it is already boosting to a high frequency of 4.3ghz. Sometimes, certain cores (depending on the workload, and thermals) will boost to 4.4ghz.
