I Built My Own Gaming PC With NO EXPERIENCE!
Build Cost, Base Unit components only = £1,300
I fancied a little project so decided to build a gaming PC for my son. I had no previous experience so did a lot of research, started to buy parts, got stopped by the pandemic and GPU shortage pretty much right away but came out ok on the other side. Now I have a pretty good PC here as you can see.
I started off with two objectives, it had to be able to run Star Citizen, and Titanic Honor and Glory and I'm pleased to say it does both! Phew!
This video just highlights a noobs guide to building a gaming PC and to let you know that if you have been thinking of building one yourself just go for it. It's not as hard as you think and very rewarding. It's not meant to be a detailed guide but more of a blog of my experience.
Throughout the video I mention pcpartpicker.com which is a really great website for listing all your parts, finding out the best prices, and learning if your parts will have any compatibility issues.
All this video was filmed on my iPhone 13
Hope you enjoy it!
