5Reactions to my first playthrough of Final Fantasy VII ever! I own the original and I played it a total of 2 hours when I was younger and never got into it. I know characters and some story beats, but most of this is all a new experience. I plan on playing the original Final Fantasy VII when I finish Remake.
The Shinra building is massive, and we truly learn just how big it is with the dreaded stairs! The last few chapters of Final Fantasy 7 Remake are an onslaught of boss fights and story! The platinum trophy for FF7R requires 2 full playthroughs. One to unlock hard and then again on hard mode. There are some collectibles to get throughout the game, a few mini games, plenty of story trophies you can't miss and then combat trophies to maxing out weapon abilities. Lastly there are a number of chapter specific trophies that can be missable, but with chapter select it not really a huge problem.
