This autumn, after more than two years of waiting, Diplomacy is Not an Option is leaving Early Access. The game is about defending medieval settlements against hordes of enemies. DiNaO mixes modern approach to RTS game-design with elements of golden classics of the genre.
The main feature of the version 1.0 is the single-player Story Campaign with 30+ hours of gameplay for a single playthrough (100+ hours for all the presented missions).
The story begins with a peasant uprising taking place in Protagonist's feud. Depending on choices players make during their walkthrough, they will be able to switch sides of the conflict. Such plot forks appear in the game several times. They define following missions and the ending players will see in the final cutscene.
Version 1.0 will have:
At least 3 faction to support
At least 6 possible endings
Wide variety of mission goals
