0Chilla's Art is a Japanese Horror game developer that specializes in foreboding atmosphere and grounded but chilling narratives. Today we visit their Seventh game: Onryo.
I won't beat around the bus on this one. I didn't not enjoy this game, but I wanted to include it in this series for posterity. I'm glad I at least gave it a genuine try.
In concept, Onryo sounds like an amazing game! Inspired by Fatal Frame, you explore a haunted house with only your camera to defend yourself while solving puzzles.
But hey, 7 games and only one that I didn't enjoy? That's a pretty good success rate! And future me can tell you right now, there are plenty of awesome Chilla's Art's games coming your way soon!
