I didn't think I'd be alive to tell you this(1 Year Anniversary of my album The Void)
9Let’s get real for a second. Today marks the anniversary of my very first mixed and mastered album “The Void. Attached is a video recapping the entire process of the album. I honestly did not think I would be alive telling you that I mixed and masted something from scratch.. Like I seriously could not fathom ever being to fully mix and master one song; let alone a full album. Over the course of 4 years I grinded and perfected an album through some tough times in my life. Over those 4 years I filmed, wrote, edited, recorded, planned, collabed with and made many friends, cried, celebrated etc. Basically a whole lot of emotions went into the creation of this album. 4 years is quite a long time to be working on one project too. However, without those 4 years of trial and error, I would not be mixing and mastering my own music today. It was 4 years of pure reps through the chaos. Consistency is key.
The Void is about surrounding yourself with the right people and the right things. It is where my brand “Winning Is Contagious” was born! Everyone at some point will end up in their own version of the Void. You may feel alone, hopeless and depressed. This is exactly how I felt. I was abusing my body and mind instead of facing my demons head on. The only way I was able to do this was by surrounding myself with the positive things and people that pushed me in the right direction. You may be in your own Void right now and I hope you do exactly what I just explained to get out.
Even if you only bump one song or decide to even take one quick glance at the Void Merch; it means the absolute world to me. After 1 year the album hit around 150K streams. To me this was about 140K more than expected (lol). Thank you for your love and support. Stream The Void out everywhere now.
