130It's been almost three months since CP The Doc (5-0) has taken the basketball court.
Doc's most recent basketball game was posted on July 1st. In that game, Doc took on his toughest opponent yet, and came out with a 21-16 win, thanks to some clutch shooting at the end of regulation.
"I played some great defense, but [Doc] hit some tough shots. That's just what he does," said Landen Lockwood, CP The Doc's most recent opponent.
Doc's win on July 1st was the most impressive win of his YouTube basketball career. But that was almost three months ago.
The world has changed a lot since CP The Doc's most recent basketball game. Back on July 1st, the NBA hadn't restarted yet. TikTok was still available in the App Store. There was over one month left in NBA 2K20's lifespan. AND... CP The Doc was undefeated in his YouTube basketball games.
Don't worry, CP The Doc is still undefeated! But if he's not careful, he might not be undefeated anymore after this basketball game.
Today, The Doc will try and shake off his rust and 'get his swagger back' versus friend and classmate Brian Pham, who is better known as 'Phammy Ice.'
Phammy Ice and Doc met at UAB back in 2018, and the two have been cool ever since. Today they will play against each other 1 on 1 for the first time.
"I have some tough games planned after this one, so this is kind of like a tune-up game for me," said CP The Doc.
Yes, CP has some more games planned after this one... but for now, he is focused on this game, and this game only.
CP The Doc pulled up to this game alone, but Phammy Ice brought his girlfriend, Catt, to provide him support.
There is pressure on both players. CP The Doc is putting his UNDEFEATED RECORD on the line today, and Phammy Ice doesn't want to look like Kwame Brown in front of his girlfriend.
