The way the cars handle and the skills required to drive these cars has changed over the decades and today we are going to be driving the car that defined each decade of the sport that we love and comparing the driving styles required and at the end of the video we are going to decide what is the most fun era of F1 car to drive.
From the 1950's we have the first F1 car to win a race the Alfa Romeo 158
From the 1960's we have Colin Champmans legendary Lotus 49
From the 1970's we have Ferrari's 312T which took Niki Lauda to a championship
From the 1980's we have the legendary Mclaren MP4/4 which Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost used to dominate the 1988 world championship.
From the 1990's we have the William's FW14B which Nigel Mansell used to win the 1992 world championship.

From the 2010's the 2011 Red Bull RB7 which Vettel used to dominate the 2011 championship

To do this test we are going to be lapping each car around the Tskuba Circuit in Japan on Assetto Corsa
