I Finally Have Proof - Just Cause 3
2I've experienced this glitch three times before, but unable to capture it because minimizing fixes it. This time I happened to be in Borderless Windowed mode, allowing me to open my screen capture software during gameplay. I am using mods, but this glitch has happened to many people on all platforms, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Some interesting things to note:
- While in this state, vehicles have weapon icons in the rebel drop menu.
- The first change you'll see is the objects. The terrain will soon follow.
- An easy way to tell if you're in this state is to move close to some trees. If they vanish, you're screwed.
- The AI drivers don't notice anything different, so they'll fall to their doom trying to cross a bridge. If you manage to drive a car to the point where the terrain becomes non-solid, cars will spawn normally near you. The result is pretty hilarious.
- The eDEN Airship, Stingray Area, and Lacrima Islands are all affected.
- Water is completely unaffected, meaning the water under the map is safe to swim in.
- FOW's are disabled while the ground is low-resolution.
- If you die or Fast Travel, you softlock on the loading screen.
