My friends and I played a super short indie game called 'A Short Hike'

This game was recommended to us by Kevin's lovely girlfriend, Margaret bc this is one of her favorite games of all time. I have such a soft spot for these types of immersive and atmospheric games that focus on exploration rather than a narrative cough cough Breath of the Wild cough cough

We dropped almost 4 hours into this because once we finished the story we weren't even close to getting our fill yet so we just wandered around and completed every quest we could find. We also watched someone speedrun it at the end which was hilarous

My favorite part of this game was EASILY the sound design. Every little footstep in the grass and click noise when I pick something up was like dopamine. I also loved the characters and when they would get randomly existential & philosophical about life.

I know for sure I'm gonna rip another run when I just want to relax and talk to some friendly animals :-)
