So I finally upgraded my computer - I picked up a Ryzen 7 1800X processor, plus new ram (DDR4 3000), new motherboard (of course), new case and then used my old harddrives and video card and power supply because they were fine. Still, it cost me $800, but it was totally worth it.

this is Wreckfest at 2560x1080, High Settings. It is an OBS recording test for the most part, but the game itself is set to high.

the current video card I have is an old ATI Radeon R9 270 w/2gigs of gddr5 memory. It can definitely hold its own, but i will be upgrading once the budget allows.
