I FIXED THE LANDINGS! ✈️ My Freewing Twin 80mm A-10 No Longer BOUNCES!
Finally fixed the terrible bouncing issue with the Freewing A-10 landings! All it took was moving the CG further back and softening the nose gear spring.
As you can see now, the jet no longer abruptly drops the nose on approach due to excess nose heaviness and tail running out of authority, even when approaching really slow! :D
I still need to fix the thrustline to make it even better though...
...Speaking of, Freewing has just launched a NEW and improved A-10 V2 version! Have you seen it already? Looks like I'll have to buy some parts of the new V2 to upgrade my current model... The new landing gear looks pretty epic, and larger elevator surface area sounds just like the right thing for me! Hehehe...))
