I try out the command interface in this very early demo of "Admiral Wars" - available through App Labs.
Grab it on App Labs: https://tinyurl.com/AdmiralWars30
NOTE: This game does not work from the sitting positon due to the bulk of handles etc being below the chair level when launched. So if you were looking forward to trying this on a couch, sadly it is not really supported in the current build.
0:00 Menus
0:10 Oops, accidentally triggered the start of the game
0:31 Playing with the interface trying to get work out how things work - things are fairly non standard.
2:19 Under Attack
2:50 Ok, I worked out how to attack (Grip and then trigger)
4:04 Selecting carrier and attempting to get things to take off
6:24 Selecting various ships and keeping them on the move (wish there was a way to move in formation)
8:04 Night is falling, I'm pretty certain I know where the enemy are, so I'm moving into position.
10:27 The autofire appears to do the trick, so As long as I don't leave ships and subs behind they should enjoy the safety of numbers
14:20 Sinking the enemy Carrier
15:07 Attempting the Tutorial to see if there was anything I missed
15:27 The tutorial feels very (early) and broken -- maybe because I tried the skirmish first, so it is hard to break the next 15 minutes into chapters.

Definitely worth trying out if you are looking from some VR strategy, but BattelgroupVR is still doing much of this simpler, with the complexity of 3d space. Hopefully the dev checks out a few more games in the emerging genre.
