Cautions & Safety tips when trading or buying!
- Don't do any business without verifying and confirming the account has what you want! (Meet in game and have them show you the skins/stuff that you want that they advertised)
- Don't trade, buy or sell without middleman!! You can easily be scammed if you don't use a mm!
- Make sure you look or ask for vouchers for a mm before using them! And make sure that the mm is a official and verified mm from Illusion Hall! (I'm only suggesting Illusion Hall because I've used it and they can be trusted)
- If you don't use Illusion Hall and use a different discord server make sure that they are legit, ask around and look for vouchers. Same goes for Facebook groups or the EpicnPC website!
- DON'T trade or buy accounts on the persons DMs, they are likely a scammer! This mostly happens on Discord!
- I HIGHLY recommend buying or trading accounts that DON'T have a DMM or email bind! Reason is they can still use that to log into and take back the account! And if the account does have a email bind then ask if they would be willing to give you that email that the account is bonded to.
- Don't be afraid to question them if you are unsure about something!
- If a account seems like it's too good to be true for a low price, thats because it most likely is! (Example is like having a lot of good skins, limited or other wise and they are only asking for like 50 - 250$. High end accounts, especially ones with older limited S tiers will be higher priced. You ain't ever gonna find a "Golden Fortune", " Madame Coral", or "Bloodbath", etc. for cheap.
- Be patient! I am fully guilty of this. I get it, you desperately want a certain account that has something you want and you are ready to trade or buy from the first person that has it. But it's not good to be impatient. Look around for multiple accounts that have what you want and talk to those people to see how they react and if they will follow your requests (like meet in game). Don't be so eagered to buy or trade until you made a sound mind decision, and again I'm begging you, DON'T do it without a mm!
I hope this can help avoid you being scammed and to stay away from sketchy people as well. I know a lot of this might just be common sense but I wish I had known these before I got scammed. Because I was wayyy too trusting and naive of people and didn't think they would have any ill will or intentions against me, just because someone seems nice and kind doesn't mean they are. Again this is for people like me, who are often taken advantage or stepped on because of our kindness/trusting nature. Listen I know it's hard to put your foot down because you don't want to be mean or hurt anyones feelings but theres a way to be assertive and polite at the same time. This not only goes for stuff like this but irl as well. Again hope this helps to know what to look out for!
